Abstract:
Gut microbiome, coexisting with host cells in human body, participates in glucolipid metabolism and energy transformation. With the increasing incidence of gestational metabolic syndrome around the world, many studies have found that gestational metabolic disorder is associated with not only alterations in maternal gut microbiome, but also abnormal gut microbiome colonization in infants in early life, which even affects the growth of offspring and increases the risk of chronic metabolic diseases in their later life.
