Abstract: Cryptococcus neoformans meningitis is one of the most common opportunistic infections and causes of death in acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS)patients with HIV infection. Comprehensive treatment is the key to reduce the mortality rate of AIDS patients with Cryptococcus neoformans meningitis,which includes antifungal treatment, antiretroviral therapy and intracranial pressure management.This article reviews the current status and advanced of comprehensive therapy for Cryptococcus neoformans meningitis in AIDS patients.
