Abstract:
Objective To investigate the effect of nasal continuous positive airway pressure on sleep quality and blood glucose in patients with sleep apnea syndrome. Methods From August 2016 to June 2017,82 patients with OSAHS in the People's Hospital of Dingtao District were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table, with 41cases in each group. The observation group was treated with nasal continuous positive airway pressure ventilation and the control group was treated conservatively. The sleep quality and quality of life score of Pittsburgh were compared between the two groups. The changes of fasting blood glucose and fasting insulin in the two groups were compared. Results After the intervention, the sleep quality score of the observation group was (12.3 ± 0.9) points, which was lower than that of the control group [(15.6 ± 1.6) points] (t =11.369,P < 0.05),and the quality of life score of the observation group was (56.3 ± 2.9) points, which was lower than that of the control group [(68.9 ± 5.3) points] (t =13.190,P < 0.05).The fasting blood glucose in the observation group was (5.1 ± 0.9) mmol/L,which was lower than that of the control group [(7.3 ± 1.1) mmol/L] (t =9.790,P < 0.05).The fasting insulin in the observation group was (6.4 ± 0.3)mU/L,which was higher than that of the control group [(4.1 ±0.1) mU/L] (t =46.000,P < 0.05).Conclusion For patients with sleep apnea syndrome, nasal continuous positive airway pressure ventilation treatment can effectively improve the sleep and quality of life of patients, better regulation of blood sugar stability.
