Therapeutic effect and influence factors of radiofrequency ablation in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma

Abstract:
Objective To study the therapeutic effect and influence factors of radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Methods Sixty patients with HCC were selected as study objects ,and they were randomly divided into two groups according to the digital table , with 30 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with RFA combined with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) .The control group was treated with TACE .The therapeutic effect was observed , and the influence factors were analyzed.Results The excellent rate of the observation group was 76.67%(23/30),which was significantly higher than 43.33%(13/30) of the control group,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (χ2 =6.94,P<0.05).The excellent rates of HCC with diameter less than 3cm and distance more than 1cm from liver visceral surface,were significantly higher than other tumors ,the differences were statistically significant (χ2 =6.78,15.06, 23.15,all P<0.05).The excellent rate of different sex and age had no statistically significant differences (χ2 =0.95,2.39,all P>0.05).Conclusion RFA has obvious effect in the treatment of HCC .The therapeutic effect is closely related to tumor size ,location and type ,and has no significant correlation with the age and sex of the patients .
