Abstract:
Eosinophilic colitis(EC)is a rare form of eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders,characterized by colon eosinophil infiltration with unknown cause. The etiology,pathogenesis and incidence of EC are not completely clear and definite diagnostic criteria of EC is not yet available. The treatment strategies of EC mainly come from case reports and case series,including diet therapy,drug intervention and surgical operation. This article reviewed the advances in diagnosis and treatment of EC.
