Abstract:
Objective Summarizingthe clinical nursing experience from the treatment of the 31 cases of AIDS-related oral Kaposi's sarcoma(KS). Methods Retrospective analysis of clinical nursing process of 31 cases of AIDS-related oral KS patient from our hospital,which include,oral health instruction,medication guidance,diet management, humanistic care and comprehensive nursing measures such as disinfection. Results After being received active treatment and careful nursing, 31 AIDS-related oral KS patients were free from attacking by any complications such as secondary infection and tumor rupture bleeding.Of which 29 cases of oral KS lesions were all subsided, 2 cases of oral KS lesions significantly reduced. Conclusions For AIDS-related oral KS patients, a se-ries of comprehensive nursing measurescan promote the regression of oral KS,as well as prevent secondary infection and tumor rupture hemorrhage complications,which could have a significant effect on the patients′confidence with following-up treatments and the quality of patients′future life.
