Abstract:
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is one of the life-threatening and an autosomal recessive hereditary disease,which may involve lung,digestive and reproductive systems.The occurrence of CF varied with race,and is common in European and American,while rare in Asian.But recently,with the progress of medical technology,more and more Chinese children with CF have been found.Lacking of experience in CF diagnosis may be the main cause of misdiagnosis inChina.The aim of this review is to elaborate the pathogenesis,clinical characteristics,diagnosis and treatment of CF,in order to improve the ability of identifying CF for Chinese pediatrician.Early identification and intervention can improve the prognosis and prolong the life cycle of Chinese CF children.
