- Abstract: Drug safety is of paramount importance.It has major effect on people's livelihood and public safety.The issue of drug safety should be considered throughout the new drug development cycle.This paper mainly introduced and discussed the statistical methods involved in the safety evaluation in clinical trials,in order to strengthen the drug safety surveillance and to guarantee drug safety in public health.
