Abstract:
Hyperparathyroidism is a frequent contributor to hypercalcemia,which is divided into primary hyperparathyroidism,secondary hyperparathyroidism and tertiary hyperparathyroidism.In the past,primary hyperparathyroidism was more common than others.With hemodialysis widely applied in recent years,the survival rate for patients with chronic kidney disease is increasing,but the incidence of secondary hyperparathyroidism and tertiary hyperparathyroidism is also increasing year by year.In this paper,recent progress of diagnosis and treatment of patients with hyperparathyroidism is reviewed to provide basis for clinical diagnosis and therapy.
