Abstract:
Ischemia-reperfusion injury is an inflammatory cascade involving a variety of factors. It is closely related to the delayed graft function and acute rejection after renal transplantation. At present, the mechanism of ischemia-reperfusion injury is not clear.Recent studies have shown that NLRP3 inflammasome,as a key molecule of inflammatory cascade, plays an important role in the development and progression of renal ischemia-reperfusion injury. Therefore,it is expected to become a new therapeutic target for renal ischemia-reperfusion injury. This article reviews the role of NLRP3 inflammasome in renal ischemia-reperfusion injury.
