Abstract:
Coiled coil domain containing 6 (CCDC6) is originally found in thyroid papillary carcinoma by participating in RET/PTC1 fusion formation.Studies have shown that CCDC6 plays a vital role in response to DNA damage repair and regulation of cell cycle and apoptosis.As a tumor suppressor,CCDC6 could inhibit tumorgenesis,tumor migration and invasion in thyroid carcinoma,lung cancer,colorectal cancer,prostate cancer and cervical cancer.Intensively study the role and mechanism of CCDC6 in carcinomas will provide a new thought for tumor diagnosis,treatment and clinical proguosis evaluation.
