Effect of azithromycin on preventing acute coronary syndromes from having cardiac bad events

Abstract:
A total of 80 acute coronary syndrome patients were divided into 2 groups at random: GroupⅠ(40 cases) were given only conventional treatment,while azithromycin were added in GroupⅡ(40 cases) with a dosage of 0.5 g/d for 14 d. The frequency of hospitalization of the 2 groups in 3 months, 6 months,12 months were analyzed and compared. It was found azithromycin could reduce the bad events of acute coronary syndrome patients.
