Abstract:
Diabetes mellitus is one of the most common diseases that seriously harm to human health and easy to suffer from many complications,which have become the leading cause of disability and mortality in diabetic patients.According to the research fields of seven articles collected in the section of diabetic complications,the progress of diabetic nephropathy,retinopathy,myopathy,erectile dysfunction,nonalcoholic fatty liver disease,and their common pathogenesis were briefly reviewed in this paper.The strategies for prevention and treatment of diabetes and its complications were also put forward,so as to provide the enlightenment for further study of diabetic complications and their treatment or prevention as well as new drug development.
