Abstract:
Close unit of PICU has been predominated in the management model of PICU nowadays. A growing body of scientific evidence suggests that quality of care in hospital ICUs is strongly influenced by whether intensivist are managing care.Intensivist are familiar with the complications that can occur in the ICU and the use of varying advanced technologies and,thus,are better equipped to minimize errors and save lives and costs.The close unit is also has many benefits in PICU development. Open or half open unit is also adopted in some developing areas.
