Abstract:
Fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT)is to transplant the functional flora from feces of healthy donor into the intestinal tract of patient through a certain approach for improving the microbial dysbiosis of gut and reconstructing the intestinal microecosystem. To date, apart from the application of FMT in recurrent Clostridium difficile infection, the effect of FMT on other dysbiosis-associated diseases is not clear and is controversial. In this article,a brief introduction was done on "Consensus report:faecal microbiota transfer - clinical applications and procedures"published by the Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics in 2017,which may provide a reference for the further applications of FMT in clinical practice in China.
