Abstract:
Objective To investigate the main causes and improving measures of cross-contamination on the determination of serum inorganic phosphorous with Beckman CX4 automatic biochemical analyzer.Methods Through observing the 200 samples with absorbance determination-time change,the components of colorimetic cylinder spacing,reagent spotting and sample spotting were studied in which determination process whether or not existed cross-contamination.The main causes which influenced the determination resultants were found.Results It was found that the main causes of the cross-contamination was adding sample when the inorganic phosphorous was determined.Conclusion There is cross-contamination on the determination of serum inorganic phosphorous,adding serum specimens is the key step,using a series of provided measures can raise the accuracy for determining serum inorganic phosphorous.
