Abstract:
The article was first reported that aqueous extract from Penaeus orientalis (AEPO) acted on isolated urine, duodenum, stomach strip, vas deferent, and urinary bladder of rat. The result indicated that AEPO had contractive effects on afore mentioned smooth muscles of rat. These effects were not blocked by cholinergic M-receptor blocking agent atropine and adrener gic alpha-receptor blocking agent phentolamine. But these contractions were blocked by 5HT -receptor blockng agent cyproheptadine. And the volum of flow were decreased, it were from 54 ?8 dr/min to 20?4 dr/min, (P
