Abstract:
Objective:To provide a new way for the management of children with dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM),by observing the expression of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)in peripheral blood monocytes in children with DCM,and exploring the role of TLR4 in children with DCM.Methods:Expression of TLR4 in peripheral blood monocytes from 17 controls,and 18 children with DCMwas compared with the use of flow cytometry.Results:The mean fluorescence intensity(MFI)of TLR4 in peripheral blood monocytes was significantly higher in children with DCMcompared to controls((34.67?7.61)vs(22.62?4.28),P
