Research allicin allied with DDP on growth inhibition and induction apoptosis of rat bladder tumor

Abstract:
Objective:To evaluate the validity of allicin allied with DDP on bearing tumor SD rats,explore the mechanisms of function.Methods:set up bladder cancer models by irrigating MNU into SD rat bladder,examine the incidence of cancer.At the end of 14th weeks,five groups were accepted peritoneal injection with NS,allicin,DDP,DDP + allicin respectively.one time every other day,every rat was injected 0.2ml different drugs every time,7 times in all,observe experimental animals life quality at the same time.After all rats were killed,bladders were weighed.Tumor tissues were embeded in paraffin,each sample was cut into 3 pieces for HE staining,and observed by light microscope.TUNEL method was applied to examine apoptosis of tumor cells.Results:in the DDP group,a marked decrease was shown in the appearance of weight when compared with the other groups.Apoptosis of bladder tumors occurred in all groups,especially in allicin allied with DDP groups.Conclusion:Allicin allied with DDP can inhibite bladder tumor growth by inducing apoptosis in common,and improve life quality.
