Abstract:
Thirty-two rabbits were underwent cystic duct occlusion by means of Spermatic Duct Adhesive and gallbladder sclerotheraphy with one of two different regiments of ethanol and Xiao Zhi Ling injection.The results showed that all animal cystic ducts were successfully occluded except one failure on technological reason.Pathologic results showed that histologic changes were simillar in group A and group B with mucosal hyperemia and edema after two weeks.In group A gallbladder mucosa was completely destroyed and.In group B there were some remmants with intact histologic architecture.All happened after four weeks.At the 8th week gallbladders of group A were replaced by fibrous scar fissue, but only two in group B.Liver and kidney remained entirely unaffected simultaneously. The results indicated the gallbladder ablation through radiologic intervention by Ethanol and Xiao Zhi Ling injection was available and safety.The higher the concentration of the regi- ment the better woudl be the result.
