Abstract:
Contents of total diterpenes and triptolide of radix Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. f. and T .hypoglaucum (Levl. ) Hutch. in three regions were determined quantitatively by colorimetric method and TLC densitometry. Results snowed that radix T. wilfordii from Qian Dongnan contains 0.035% total diterpenes and 0.0030% triptolide, which are the highest among the plants in three regions. The study provides some scientific basis for utilization of this plant.
