Abstract:
Objective To investigate the features of color Doppler imaging(CDI)of various fundal massive lesions for diagnosis.Methods Ocular general clinical examination,especially indirect ophthalmos- copy was taken in 14 cases(16 eyes)with fundal massive lesions,including choroidal heman- gioma,optic disc hemangioma,age-related macular degeneration,subretinal hemorrhage,and choroidal hemorrhage.These examinations could not make defi- nite diagnoses.CDI was employed in these cases. Fundus fluorescein angiographies were made for 4/16 eyes.Result Different echographic patterns and blood flow spectral analysis showed in various diseases. The individual presentation of a lesion in CDI was consistent with its histopathology.Conclusion CDI can provide a valuable basis for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of these diseases.The new diagnostic technology is worthwhile to be spread.
