Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the expression of matrix metalloproteinase- 2(MMP- 2) and matrix metalloproteinase- 7(MMP- 7)in colon adenoma and colon cancer. Methods: Forty tis-sue samples of colon adenoma and 60 of colon cancer were collected .Normal colonic tissues were also collected from the same subjects. The mRNA expression levels of MMP- 2 and MMP- 7 were quantitated using semiquantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reactions.
