Abstract:
Eadometrial stromal sarcoma (ESS) is a rare malignant tumor in female genital tract, paraffin sections of formalin fixed tumor samples from 18 cases of ESS were studied immunohistochemically with antibodies against vimentin.myosin and epithelial, membrane antigen(EMA). Vimentin was found in all of these cases but none of them contained detectable myosin and EM A. These results supprt that ESS is derived from endometrial stromal cell.The differential diagnosis was discussed
