Abstract:
Data collected from 1.477 metastasis breast cancer patients aged > 18 year old, treated by various methods at the Institute Curie in Paris (France) in 1977-1998 period. Prognosis was based on the methods of neural networks and of regression tree. In the neural networks 15 neurones received the information from 14 selected factors in cluding time factors to determine the fatal risk. The combination of 2 above-mentioned methods to search the survival duration gave better results and showed the relation between various prognostic factors.
