ADR Cases Reported in Our Hospital:Analysis of 469 Cases

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE:To probe into the characteristics and general pattern of ADR cases in our hospital.METHODS:A total of 469 ADR cases which were collected from our hospital from Jun.1,2009 to May.31,2010 had been reported to National Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Network.Those cases were analyzed statistically.RESULTS:Of total 469 cases,60.77% were male which was higher than female(39.23%);131 cases were induced by antibiotics,accounting for 27.93%.Most of ADR cases were induced by injection and intravenous administration,accounting for 85.50% and 85.93%.Lesions of skin and its appendants were the most common clinical manifestations of ADR,accounting for 26.58%(126 cases).There were severe ADR of 9 cases(1.92%).All of ADR cases were cured or improved.CONCLUSION:Great importance should be attached to ADR monitoring in the clinic,especially application indication of antibiotics,in order to reduce the incidence of ADR.
