Efficacy and safety of Xinnaoxin pill combined with simvastatin in stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Xinnaoxin pill combined with simvastatin in the treatment of stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease.Methods 54 patients who were cured in Geriatrics hospital of Hangzhou from March 2015 to June 2016 with stable angina pectoris were randomly divided into control group(n=27) and treatment group(n=27).Control group was treated with simvastatin 20~40 mg, qd.Treatment group was treated with Xinnaoxin pill 1.0 g, bid on the basis of control group.The course of two groups lasted for 21 d.After treatment, the clinical efficacy, angina frequency, duration, expression levels of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP), homocysteine(Hcy), endothelin ( ET) and incidence of adverse drug reactions were compared between two groups.Results After treatment, the total effective rate in treatment group was 92.59%, which was significantly higher than that in control group(81.48%).After treatment, the attack frequency and duration of angina in two groups were lower than those before treatment.And those indexes after treatment in treatment group were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.05).The levels of serum hs-CRP, Hcyand ET in treatment group were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse drug reactions had no significantly difference between two groups.Conclusion Xinnaoxin pill combined with simvastatin has a safe and effective clinical efficacy for the treatment of stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, which can improve blood circulation, blood lipids and alleviate the symptom of oppression in chest.
