Analysis of the risk factors and intervention for type Ⅱ diabetes with depressive disorders

Abstract: Objective To investigate the risk factors of type 2 diabetic patients with depressive disorder and intervention strategies.Methods 312 hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes were selected as the research subjects,Zung Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) was used to evaluate the depression index of the different groups of patients.Results The SDS of patients more than 55 years old was higher than that of under 55 years old (t =2.142,P ＜ 0.05).The SDS score index of male patients was significantly lower than female patients (t =2.301,P ＜0.05).The SDS index of patients with duration of diabetes more than 5 years was higher than the course less than 5 years (t =2.872,P ＜ 0.05).The SDS index of patients with insulin treatment was lower than those without insulin or cannot insist to use the insulin treatment(t =2.029,P ＜ 0.05).SDS index of patients with more than 2 diabetic complications was significantly higher than those with less complications (t =2.471,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Positive control of blood sugar,enhance psychological intervention is the intervention strategies to reduce the incidence of depressive disorder in patients with type 2 diabetes.
