Abstract:
Chronic prostatitis (CP) is common in male infertility, and only a few patients present with minimal clinical symptoms. Although CP can exert negative impacts on male fertility through several pathways, controversial view existed in its effects on the quantity and quality of semen, and more researchers tend to consider CP have little influence in male infertility. Author advocates to adjust the attitude to the relationship between CP and male fertility both in doctors and patients, emphasize the unique usage of therapeutic drugs and the significance of synthetic treatment with anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation and operation. Assisted reproductive technique can be a choice for the patients failed in regular treatment.
