Diagnosis and treatment of pyelo-urethral junctional stenosid in adults in Viet Duc hospital

Abstract:
A retrospective study on 16 patients (during 1993-1997) and prospective study on 49 patients during 1997 - 1999 who suffered the pyelo-urethral junctional stenosid, with ages of 18-68 (male 33, female 32). The results have shown that the plastic surgery of the pyelo-urethral junction in 33 patients found that good (69.69%), medium (21.21%) and poor (9.1%). There was no death. The rate of kidney resection was high (16/65) because the patients admitted to hospital lately and renal function was lost.
