HLA-A and B phenotypes in Kinh people in Vietnam

Abstract:
The objective of the investigation was to complete compatibility panel of Vietnamese Kinh by serotyping after Terasaki technique. The work was dealed with 91 individuals already DR and DQ typed by PRC-SSO. The results showed that the most frequent phenotypes are A11, A2, A24, A29, A-blank. The most frequent haplotypes are A2B15, A2B-blank, A11B15, A11B-blank, A29B7, A-blankB15, A-blankB15, A-blankB17. The results were discussed in comparison with those from previous authors.
