Abstract:
Virtue ethics and normative ethics represent two distinct ethical value orientations, both of which are coexist within the education practice of red doctor spirit for medical students, highlighting the different ethical tendencies regarding red doctor spirit. From an ethical perspective, undesirable tendencies exist in the education of red doctor spirit for medical students in the new era, such as the divergence between the heart and reason in moral education concepts, the separation of essence and sacrifice in the moral education process, and the disconnection between knowledge and action in moral practice. These have led to the fragmentation and segregation of virtue ethics and normative ethics, weakening the effectiveness of the education regarding red doctor spirit for medical students. Therefore, the education of red doctor spirit for medical students should follow the ethical basis of the unity of virtue ethics and normative ethics, uphold the moral education concept unifying heart and reason, construct a moral education model integrating essence and sacrifice, and carry out moral practice combining knowledge and action, thereby resolving the ethical dilemma of the education of red doctor spirit.
