Abstract:
Through systematic comparison and analysis of the main differences in laboratory animal quality requirements,animal testing methods,and ethical norms between the 2025 and 2020 editions of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(Volume Ⅲ),this article expounds on the significant revisions made to the use of laboratory animals in the 2025 edition.These revisions mark the evolution of China's drug quality control philosophy towards a more scientific,humane,and international direction.With the rapid development of the biomedical industry,it is crucial to maintain a dynamic balance between forward-looking and applicability,principle uniformity and product specificity,scientific progress and regulatory practice in the implementation of the new edition of the Pharmacopoeia,to ensure that drug inspection standards effectively support the highquality and sustainable development of the biomedical health industry.
