Abstract: On June 27， 2026， the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver （APASL） released updated management guidelines for chronic HBV infection， which systematically elaborates on screening， vaccination， antiviral treatment， and hepatocellular carcinoma surveillance and other aspects in 13 key areas， and provides comprehensive recommendations. This article summarizes and makes an excerpt of the key recommendations from the updated guidelines.
