Pregnancy in the no-communicating rudimentary horn of a unicornuate uterus is a rare form of ectopic gestation. these occur through transperitoneal migration of gametes. Variable thickness of rudimentary horn musculature, dysfunctional endometrium and poor distensibility  of the myometrium lead to rupture of the rudimentary horn. This complication is usually seen in the second trimester and can be life-threatening  for the mother, as it results in hemoperitoneum and hemorrhagic shock. Despite advances in technology, early detection of such congenital uterine anomalies remains difficult.  Treatment is usually done through excision of the rudimentary horn or hysterectomy as necessary. Two cases of ruptures rudimentary horn pregnancies in the second trimester are presented. These illustrate the value of early diagnosis and prompt intervention on the welfare of both mother and fetus.
