Primary systematic amyloidosis is a rare disorder characterized by multi system amyloid deposition occasionally associated with multiple myeloma and poor prognosis. We report 64-year-old male who presented with bilateral erythematous to hyperpigmented , waxy, soft, non-tender plaques on the upper eyelids and some hematomas over the face, trunk and arms with no other associated manifestations. Skin biopsy of the eyelid revealed amyloid deposits and serum protein electrophoresis showed multiple myeloma. After a series of tests, the patient was diagnosed to have systemic amyloidosis with multiple myeloma. Patient was treated with melphalan and prednisone combination therapy. Improvement of cutaneous lesions was noted after the first cycle of chemotherapy characterized as decrease in size of the eye lesions. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case of amyloidosis with multiple myeloma to be published in the Philippines.
