Abstract:
Since its clinical application in the early 20th century, single-port laparoscopic technique has advanced rapidly in the field of kidney surgery.This paper systematically reviews the developmental history of this technique in kidney procedures. With the widespread of robotic surgical systems in clinical practice, robot-assisted single-port laparoscopic technique has also achieved significant breakthroughs.Currently, this technique is developing rapidly and is confronted with many challenges. Based on a comprehensive analysis of relevant domestic and international literature, this paper outlines the current status of single-port laparoscopic technique in kidney surgery and provides an outlook on its prospects.
