Abstract:
Indocyanine green fluorescence imaging technique is a visualization imaging technique based on indocyanine green fluorescent dyes. According to different imaging principles, it can be classified into intravenous injection of indocyanine green fluorescence imaging technique and indocyanine green super-selective transarterial embolization fluorescence imaging technique. This article provides a detailed overview of current major studies based on these two techniques. Its application in laparoscopic partial nephrectomy can shorten the warm ischemia time and reduce postoperative renal function injury. It is especially applicable for special types of renal tumors in complex locations, such as complete endophytic tumors and tumors in the renal hilum area. However, there is still no standardized operation specifications and evaluation criteria for its application. Focuses on the aforementioned topics and bases on emerging clinical evidence, this article reviews the principles, injection methods, safety, and clinical research advances and application linitations of indocyanine green fluorescence imaging technique in laparoscopic partial nephrectomy.
