Abstract:
Background:According to the Health Indicators 2023, diseases of the genitourinary system have ranked
fourth among the causes of diseases of the population over the past 10 years, accounting for 10.2% of all
diseases. The incidence of genitourinary tract infections by age group compared with 2014 increased by 997 cases in 2023 for all ages, and the highest increase by 2455.9 cases in those over 65 years of age. Therefore, early detection, diagnosis, and prevention of kidney disease are important.
Material and method:The study included 40 adult persons who were hospitalized with chronic kidney disease
at Sindura-med hospital in 2023-2024. We studied the clinical observation in chronic kidney disease using
the pulse palpation, point palpation method of traditional medicine, and Pasternatsky’s symptom palpation of Western medicine.
Result:At Sindura-med hospital, all patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease had cold character pulse
reading symptoms and pain on the kidney points of traditional medicine. Eye swelling is a common symptom in chronic kidney disease, but 17,5 percent of the study participants experienced eye swelling.
The majority, 52.5% of all inpatients, and 57.1% of women inpatients had on both sides plus Pasternatsky’s sign, which is a painful sensation when palpating the kidney area, but 45.5% of men inpatients had positive Pasternatsky sign on the right side.
Conclusion:According to traditional medical theory, when a disease has been going on for a long time, a
cold pulse will be detected through pulse reading diagnosis. In kidney disease, a positive Pasteur’s sign,
which is pain felt on palpation in the area, is a key diagnostic indicator.
