Analysis of antibody positive rate against 6 vaccine-preventable diseases among healthy population aged 1-69 in Jilin Province in 2024

Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the positive rate of immunoglobulin G(IgG) for measles, rubella, mumps, pertussis,varicella-zoster virus and hepatitis B surface antibody(HBsAb) in healthy people aged 1-69 years in Jilin Province in 2024,so as to provide reference for improving immune prevention strategies.Methods A stratified multi-stage cluster random sampling method was used to select 2 417 individuals aged 1-69 in 2024. Serum samples were collected and tested using ELISA to investigate the positive rates of antibodies against six vaccine-preventable diseases on site.Results The positive rates of IgG antibodies for measles, rubella, mumps, pertussis toxin(PT), varicella zoster virus(VZV) and HBsAb were51. 30%, 62. 31%, 45. 51%, 8. 73%, 35. 25%, and 45. 92%, respectively, among 2 417 survey subjects. The positive rates of measles IgG antibodies in 1 ～ < 5, 5 ～ < 15, 15 ～ < 30 and 30-69 years old were 79. 95%, 45. 81%, 41. 99%, and 51. 44%,respectively; the positive rates of rubella IgG antibodies were 88. 71%, 58. 51%, 48. 88%, and 72. 60%, respectively; the positive rates of mumps IgG antibodies were 77. 88%, 41. 86%, 30. 76%, and 47. 12%, respectively; the positive rates of IgG antibodies against VZV were 23. 27%, 26. 53%, 41. 57%, and 83. 17%, respectively; the positive rates of pertussis IgG antibodies were 6. 68%, 10. 72%, 7. 16%, and 8. 17%, respectively; the positive rates of HBsAb were 64. 52%, 41. 58%,38. 06%, and 56. 25%, respectively.Conclusion The positive rate of HBsAb, measles IgG, rubella IgG and mumps IgG in healthy people in Jilin Province is at the middle level, and that of adolescents is low; the positive rates of PT IgG and VZV IgG are at a low level, while the positive rate of VZV IgG is higher in the population aged 30-69. In the future, it is necessary to continue to maintain the high coverage rate of routine immunization planning vaccines, including two doses of measles-mumps-rubella vaccine, three doses of hepatitis B vaccine, and five doses of pertussis vaccine, while strengthening the vaccination of varicella and herpes zoster vaccines and non-immunization planning hepatitis B vaccine.
