Abstract: Plexiform fibromyxoma (PF) is a very rare mesenchymal tumor that presents as a subepithelial lesion (SEL). Endoscopically, it is almost indistinguishable from other SELs, and it has been reported to cause hemorrhage. Herein, the case of a patient diagnosed with PF after surgical resection for symptoms of hemorrhage, following a period of surveillance for a diagnosed SEL, is reported, and a review of the disease is provided.
