Abstract:
Many cases of acute elbow injuries, including coronoid fractures, radial head fractures, capitellum fractures, pediatric fractures, and lateral collateral ligament complex injuries, can be treated with arthroscopic assistance. Arthroscopy minimizes soft tissue damage and visualizes the articular surface, but the technique for percutaneous fixation is difficult, and attention must be paid to the neurovascular system. The indications for arthroscopy vary depending on the fracture type, and some remain controversial. This review aims to provide the latest knowledge on the indications and treatment methods for arthroscopy in acute elbow injuries based on recent research results.
