Abstract:
Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma is a rare, moderately malignant vascular tumor with a biological profile intermediate between an epithelioid hemangioma and malignant epithelioid hemangiosarcoma. This tumor can occur in various organs and tissues, including the bones. In addition, the non-specificity of imaging findings has led to misdiagnoses as brown tumors and malignant tumors. This paper presents the radiological and pathological characteristics and natural history of epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, which was mistaken for a brown tumor.
