Abstract:
Congenital pulmonary malformations—including bronchogenic cysts, congenital pulmonary airway malformation, and bronchopulmonary sequestration—have traditionally been diagnosed and differentiated using CT and CT angiography. Recent studies demonstrate that lung ultrasound can accurately diagnose these malformations through comprehensive analysis of characteristic features such as lesion location, morphology, size, internal echogenicity, and feeding artery origin, serving as a valuable complement to conventional imaging techniques.
