Abstract: Sepsis has a high mortality rate and a very complex pathological mechanism, in which immune dysfunction plays an important role. The lung and intestine interact physiologically and pathologically. The microflora residing on the mucosal surface of the two are closely related to immune function, which provides a theoretical and material basis for the combined treatment of lung and intestine to regulate immune dysfunction in sepsis, reduce sepsis mortality and improve long-term prognosis.
