Abstract:
Schizophrenia is a serious and highly disabling mental disorder, its pathogenesis is complex and unclear, and there is still a lack of objective clinical diagnosis and treatment indicators. A large amount of evidence had shown that genetic factors play important roles in the development and prognosis of schizophrenia, and genetic-related markers have great application prospects. This paper reviews the research on candidate genetic biomarkers of schizophrenia in order to provide reference for the precise diagnosis and treatment of schizophrenia.
