Abstract:
Bone and joint diseases is a common type of disease in clinical practice. The prevalence of bone and joint disea-ses,including osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, femoral head necrosis, lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion and fractures,is increas-ing in recent years along with the serious problem of population aging. The mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling pathway,as one of the important signal transduction pathways in cells, plays a significant role in cell growth, differentiation and apoptosis, and is closely related to the occurrence and development of bone and joint diseases. It is a key factor influencing the occurrence and development of bone and joint diseases.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)can play a role in promoting osteo-genic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, reducing inflammatory responses, and inhibiting osteoblast apopto-sis by intervening in protein activity of the MAPK signaling pathway, thereby improving the pathological changes of bone and joint diseases and alleviating the clinical symptoms of patients. This article,by collating and analyzing relevant literature, reviews the relationship between the MAPK signaling pathway and bone and joint diseases,as well as the research progress of TCM in-tervention in the MAPK signaling pathway, with the aim of providing new ideas for in-depth exploration of the pathogenesis of bone and joint diseases and related drug treatments. It will offer a strong scientific basis for the rational application of TCM in the prevention and treatment of bone and joint diseases in clinical practice.
