Abstract:
AIM To explore the clinical effects of Modified Fumai Decoction on patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans due to Yin Deficiency and Blood Stasis.METHODS One hundred and fifty-two patients were randomly assigned into control group(76 cases)for 8-week administration of Alprostadil Injection, and observation group(76 cases)for 8-week administration of both Modified Fumai Decoction and Alprostadil Injection. The changes in clinical effects,TCM syndrome scores, coagulation function indices(PT,APTT,TT,FIB),thrombelastogram parameters(R,K,MA,αangle),vascular inflammatory factors(hs-CRP,TNF-α,IL-6,IL-1β),vascular endothelial function(VEGF,ET-1,NT-proBNP,NO)and incidence of adverse reactions were detected.RESULTS The observation group demonstrated higher total effective rate than the control group(P<0.05).After the treatment, the two groups displayed decreased TCM syndrome scores,FIB,vascular inflammatory factors,MA,αangle,ET-1,NT-proBNP(P<0.05),prolonged PT,APTT,TT(P<0.05),and increased R,K,VEGF,NO(P<0.05),especially for the observation group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION For the patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans due to Yin Deficiency and Blood Stasis,Modified Fumai Decoction can safely and effectively regulate coagulation functions, and improve vascular endothelial functions.
