Abstract:
Hemangioma of glans penis is a rare benign lesion. A case of hemangioma of the glans penis treated with percutaneous copper wires was reported in this article. The patient was 21 years old, and was hospitalized due to the discovery of a mass on glans penis for 5 years. Physical examination revealed a bluish-purple lesion approximately 1 cm in diameter close to the external orifice of urethra on glans penis. The sterilized cooper wires were penetrated and indwelled in the lesion for treatment. Copper wires were straightened and then drawn out after 7 days. After one year of follow-up, the hemangioma disappeared without recurrence, and there were no obvious scars.
