- Abstract: MiRNA,as a class of short non-coding RNA molecules,plays an important role in the post-transcriptional regula-tion of gene expression.miRNAs regulate gene expression by targeting specific mRNA sequences,thereby affecting various cellular bio-logical behaviors,including proliferation,apoptosis,migration,and invasion.In recent years,it has been found that miRNA may play an important role in the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma.This article provides a review of the research progress on the association between miRNA and the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma.
